Fever Dream- Iron & Wine

Through the last few years of my life, I've been shocked to realize that this is one of my favorite songs of all time. Shocked not because it's a bad song or weird, but because it's not a particularly amazing song. It has really changed me. I don't want to say that my life was bad at all, because it wasn't, but when I couldn't handle the things that were going on, this song always had a way of getting me to sleep.

I happened to put it in a sleeping/nighttime playlist, because it's such a slow song, and i realized that I was always relaxed and asleep by the end of the song. I know this may not be your song and it could be something completely different from this, but I encourage you to find your lullaby, it's so nice to have that song that sings you to sleep. I intend to sing this to my children when it's bed time.

From the Morning- Nick Drake

This is life. This should literally be the definition of life. Nick Drake is definitely one of the greatest. Can't you just feel the peace sweep over you when you listen to his voice?

I Can't Make You Love Me/Nick of Time- Bon Iver

Sometimes you have to just give in to the truth and realize there's nothing else you can do. It's not up to you. That's when you pull out this song and listen to it on repeat for hours.

Goodbye- Eddie Vedder

The first time I heard this song, my heart broke. I've never heard a song that was so full of emotion, yet at the same time so empty. It makes my heart hurt every time. Eddie Vedder is definitely one of the worlds most talented artists.

When David Heard- Eric Whitacre (Performed by Molto Cantabile)

A nice sunday appropriate song (hymn if you will) by none other than the fantastic Eric Whitacre. Yes, the song is so long they broke it up into two videos, but trust me it's worth it. I mean beside the minor continuity errors, it's very well done. :)

Endless Blue- The Horrors

Thanks Mama Foster! Great band, definitely look into them.

The End Has No End- The Strokes

I thought I should start things off with a little punk, a little rock, a touch of pop, and a whole load of great songs.
